Privacy Notice

This document explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use your data.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

DowsFaucet is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our community members. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website and digital services.

By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these terms. We may update this notice from time to time. If you keep using our services after updates, it means you accept the new terms.

2. Data Collection

We collect various types of information to help ensure a smooth, reliable experience. When you create an account, we may ask for your email address, username, and wallet addresses. We need this information to process withdrawals.

  • Engagement Data: We collect information when you join events, enter giveaways or surveys, or contact our support team.
  • Automated Diagnostics: We also collect technical details like IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and timestamps. We use this data only to stop fraud and make our platform work better.

3. Use of Collected Data

We use your information to keep our platform running smoothly, improve it, and maintain its security. Here are the main ways we use your data:

  • Administering leaderboards and sweepstakes.
  • Deploying anti-bot and fraud mitigation systems.
  • Sending essential administrative emails.
  • Resolving disputes and technical problem-solving.
  • Managing site tasks and rewards.
  • Complying with legal and regulatory subpoenas.

4. Information Sharing & Third Parties

DowsFaucet does not sell your personal data. However, we may share data in certain cases to keep our services working.

  • Service Providers & Gateways: We use third-party hosting, analytics, and payment providers when needed. These providers only get the data they need to do their jobs.
  • Offerwalls & Advertisers: If you use offerwall features, we may share a unique identifier to track and credit your activity.
  • Business Partners & Affiliates: We may share aggregated, non-personal data with affiliates or partners to support joint promotions. Actions like claiming on the faucet or appearing on the leaderboard may publicly display your username and avatar to encourage community participation.

5. Survey & Reward Partners

To offer surveys, DowsFaucet may work with partners like CPX Research. When you access surveys, these partners may review your profile to determine whether you qualify.

Some surveys may use tracking cookies and collect demographic data. Your answers are covered by the partner's terms. For more details on how CPX Research handles your data, see the CPX Research Respondent Terms. You can always choose not to take part in these surveys.

6. Cookies, Analytics & Do-Not-Track (DNT)

Cookies: We use cookies and local storage to keep you logged in, protect against some attacks, and collect information about site visits. You can block these in your browser, but some features might not work properly.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to learn about website visitors. Google may use this data to show personalized ads. You can limit this tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

DNT Signals: Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal, but there is no universal standard for how to handle it. Right now, our system does not change its behavior based on these signals.

7. Global Data Rights & Account Deletion

We follow international rules like the GDPR and CCPA, giving users full control over their online information:

  • Access & Portability: You can request a full export of your data at any time.
  • Rectification: You can ask us to correct any inaccurate information in your profile.
  • CCPA "Do Not Sell" Mandate: California residents have the right to demand that their personal data not be sold or brokered to third parties.
  • Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You can ask us to permanently delete your account by contacting support. Please note that some security logs and identifiers may be securely hashed and kept to prevent future ban evasion or fraud.

8. Fair Information Practices

Adhering strictly to Fair Information Practice Principles, we commit to absolute transparency regarding infrastructural security. In the highly unlikely event of a data breach compromising identifiable information:

  • We will notify affected users via email within seven (7) business days.
  • We will deploy an administrative platform alert within one (1) business day.

We further adhere to the Individual Redress Principle, accepting users' right to pursue legally enforceable remedies against data processors that fail to comply with statutory mandates.

9. Platform Security & PCI Compliance

DowsFaucet uses strong 256-bit SSL encryption for all data sent and received. Only authorized security staff can access our internal databases.

Financial Data Independence: We do not request, process, or store credit card or banking information, so PCI vulnerability scanning is not required. All reward transfers are handled securely through our system.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our services are designed for adults. We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we find an underage user, we will immediately and permanently delete their account and data.

11. Legal Disclosures

Apple Inc., Google LLC, and Amazon.com, Inc. are not sponsors of, nor are they involved in any way with, the contests, sweepstakes, or reward systems operated by DowsFaucet. No corporate products from these entities are utilized as promotional prizes unless explicitly stated by verified third-party offer providers.
